Pilsen has extended its contracts with Čermák, Pernica, Hruška and Sváček

first_imgViktoria Plzeň extended its contracts with four football players – midfielder Aleš Čermák, defender Luďek Pernica and goalkeepers Aleš Hruška and Dominik Sváček. According to the club website, Hruška signed a contract until 2022 during the training camp in Austria, the others until 2023. “All four players proved with their performances and approach that they are a benefit for our club. That is why I am glad that we agreed on their further continuation in Victoria Pilsen,” said the general manager of the club Adolf Šádek.Twenty-five-year-old Čermák came to Pilsen in the summer of 2017 from his mother Sparta and gradually developed into support. The offensive midfielder scored eight goals and eight assists last season, although he only hit 20 games due to injuries. He scored 24 goals in 129 matches of the highest competition and added 18 assists.“Aleš Čermák had an excellent season in Pilsen and fully fulfilled the expectations that the sports management of Viktoria placed in him. The former stopper Jablonec and Brno played a total of 221 matches in the first league, in which he scored 14 goals and added seven assists.Hruška transferred to Victoria three years ago from Příbram. Recently, the 34-year-old goalkeeper has been a clear number one, catching 34 of 35 league duels last year. In the highest competition, Hruška collected 287 starts and caught 83 zeros.Twenty-three-year-old Sváček in Pilsen mostly played the role of a goalkeeper trio.
